Who we are looking for:
As an
Automation Junior Specialist
, you will support the development and validation of Caracol's advanced automation solutions, working closely with the R&D; and Service teams.
This is a hands-on role focused on
prototyping, electrical assembly, and technical support
, offering strong exposure to industrial automation systems and large-scale additive manufacturing equipment.
You will contribute to prototype realization, provide technical feedback to the automation project designer team and support electrical assembly, wiring, and cabinet verification activities. The role is ideal for a junior profile eager to grow in an industrial, high-tech environment, combining shop-floor hands on works with writing of technical documentation and electrical CAD design.
Few examples of responsibilities:
- Support the realization and assembly of automation prototypes, contributing to testing and validation activities,
- Perform, assist and validate of the electrical wirings, assembly of automation systems, including control cabinets, ensuring consistency with technical documentation and safety standards.
- Provide technical feedback to the design and engineering teams, supporting continuous improvement of electrical and automation solutions.
- Create, update, and review
electrical schematics, manuals, and operating procedures
using Electrical CAD and technical documentation standards.
- Contribute to the
drafting and revision of operating documentation
and system installation requirements
- Support the Service and Field Engineering teams during system assembly, installation, and internal testing phases.
Ideal Background:
- Technical diploma (ITS) in Electrical, Automation or in Mechatronics field
- Ability to perform electrical wiring and understand basic electrical design principles
- Ability to read and create electrical schematics
- Ability to read mechanical drawings
- Basic experience with CAD tools for electrical or technical drawings
- Familiarity with electrical cabinets and industrial automation systems
- Willingness to work hands-on in an industrial environment
- Good knowledge of English, Italian is a nice to have
