Sales Support Representative – WI, Transport Division
This role supports the sales organization in managing customer requests, quotation activities, and day‑to‑day customer support.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Support
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Provide product information and basic troubleshooting support
- Present product features and benefits, demonstrating value to customers
- Perform sizing and product selection for non‑complex applications by identifying the most suitable solutions within the portfolio
- Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with customers
- Monitor customer satisfaction and proactively address concerns
- Deliver high‑quality customer service and support
- Manage and resolve customer complaints effectively
Sales Support
- Support the sales team with administrative activities and data entry
- Prepare quotations and sizing calculations
- Monitor and update customer and opportunity information in the CRM system
- Provide support during sales meetings and presentations
- Identify and create lists of potential customers
- Maintain and manage sales databases
- Support follow‑up activities related to customer opportunities and quotations
- Prepare reports and sales‑related documentation
General Responsibilities
- Maintain solid knowledge of products, services, and company policies
- Collaborate with internal departments to improve the overall customer experience
- Contact customers to ensure satisfaction with products and services
- Stay up to date on industry trends and competitor activity to support the sales team with relevant insights
- Contribute to team success by supporting related activities when needed
- Continuously learn and adapt to new product launches and updates
- Work closely with the operations team to help ensure on‑time delivery
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, or high school technical diploma
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex information
- Proficiency with sales tools and software, such as Salesforce and CRM systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in cross‑functional teams
- Good command of the English language, both written and spoken
