Description
The Financial Controller is an integral part of Finance Department and is responsible for assessing, monitoring, planning and managing the efficient utilization of cash and financial services in a manner consistent with the objectives of the Group.
Task and Duties
prepare monthly group financial reporting
calculate weekly Group Net Financial Position
understand, manage and supervise all aspects of cash flow, including projection
prepare forecast yearly cashflow to define cash requirements and execute financing decisions
manage long-term and short-term financial strategies both for Companies and Group
manage currency exchange, interest rate and commodities risk
monitor Company’s various cash flow forecasts and perform financial modelling
evaluate, develop and implement cash management systems to optimize efficiencies
understand and manage appropriate accounting procedures and processes related to Treasury Department
manage relationships with financial service providers
monitor banks quality of services and overall costs
monitor the payment terms and conditions of both suppliers and customers at group level
make a check about solvability of customers and define their credit limit
monitor credit risk at group level, arrange the issue of reminders to clients, decide which actions to do to recover the credits in coordination with the Management and Legal Department
arrange supplier payments at Group level and for the Holding Company
Requirements
degree in Accounting/Finance
knowledge of financial strategies, banking and financial instruments
extensive experience in preparing cash forecasts and cash flow analyses
experience in the preparation of financial reporting and in managing complex financial frameworks within a Group
knowledge of English is mandatory, knowledge of another language will be a plus
advanced analytical, organization, and interpersonal skills
advanced spreadsheet and modelling skillsexcellent collaboration, verbal and written communication skills
willing to travel for business
