OverviewExperteer Overview In this role you drive accurate financial records for multiple EMEA entities and support month-end and year-end closes. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure controls and compliance under IFRS/GAAP, while mentoring junior staff and supporting audits. You will optimize processes to improve efficiency and provide insightful financial analysis to the business. This is an opportunity to contribute to a global finance function within a market-leading eyewear company.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate a team handling daily accounting tasks across several EMEA entitiesSupport month-end and year-end close activities with timely, accurate reportingReview journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reportsEnsure compliance with internal controls, policies and accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP)Assist in external audits by preparing documentation and liaising with auditorsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and provide financial insightsIdentify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial operationsProvide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staffQualificationsDegree in Economics & Finance, or related fieldsMinimum 4 years of experience in accounting and financeStrong knowledge of accounting principles and practicesProficient in SAP ERP and Microsoft ExcelExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesEffective communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented attitudeGood communication skills in English (written and spoken); other languages are a plusExperience in audit firms or multinational companies is a plus
