You will be responsible for translating European sustainability strategy into actionable regional plans, ensuring performance and measurable impact across South European markets. /ppYou will lead the engagement and expansion of Tetra Pak’s participation in Packaging Recovery Organizations (PROs), both regulatory and voluntary, and anticipate evolving requirements from regulators and customers regarding recycling and recyclability. You will also oversee EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) fees and related financial investments across markets, with a focus on cost optimization and value creation. /ppLocation of the position is Ruberia, Italy. The position reports to the Sustainability Director Europe. Travelling up to approximately 50%, is required for this role. /ph3bWhat you will do /b /h3ulliDrive deployment of the European sustainability strategy in South Europe through effective planning and execution of strong Collection Recycling initiatives /liliLead and manage one Sustainability Manager, ensuring successful delivery on KPIs and high team engagement /liliDrive yearly planning and ensure follow-up and validation of action plans to improve the value chain for collection, sorting, and recycling of post-consumer packaging /liliDevelop and lead relationships with PROs and industry associations, in collaboration with third parties including customers and competitors /liliMonitor and optimize EPR fees and related contributions to enhance cost and value chain performance efficiency across the region /liliRepresent the company in industry forums and regulatory discussions on collection and recycling /li /ulh3bWe believe you have /b /h3ulliUniversity degree in relevant field, e.g. BA, Engineering or Sustainability. /liliStrong business acumen and financial understanding and ability and willingness to learn about recycling technologies and operations. /liliIt is seen as a benefit if you already have experience from being a technical recycling specialist / experience from related industry. /liliStrong interpersonal skills and strong skills in work across geographies and cross-functional. /liliExcellent leadership, team development, and people management skills. /liliStrong track record of managing complex projects / initiatives. /liliOpen to new ideas and updated on latest development externally in own field of expertise. /liliHigh proficiency in English language both written and verbal is required, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels – both internally and externally. /liliIt’s necessary that you have a passion for sustainability and willingness to go the extra mile to make a positive impact. /liliDriving license, for external visits. /li /ulpAs a person you are dynamic and structured, a leader with the ability to translate strategy into impactful actions.
