General Description
The Field Market Access Manager/Senior Manager Italy will be responsible for ensuring and optimizing access to BeiGene’s pipeline at a regional level, building strategic relationships, and engaging with regional payers and their influencers. This is a field-based role requiring extensive market access experience, project development, budget management, and presenting value evidence to payers and decision-makers at the regional level. The activity aims to shape a favorable environment for our products through effective communication with payers at regional and local levels, aligned with local country business strategies.
Location
Lombardy-Piedmont-Liguria-Valle D’Aosta and Sardinia Regions. Residence: Lombardy.
Essential Functions of the Job
* Define and implement Market Access strategies to ensure access of BeiGene’s products at regional and hospital levels by demonstrating therapeutic, economic, and societal value based on regional environment insights.
* Manage and maintain institutional relationships with Regional Health Authorities, hospitals, management, medical directors, and pharmacy departments, influencing pharmaceutical policy development and product positioning.
* Introduce BeiGene’s products at regional and hospital levels.
* Lead negotiations at central and hospital levels for tenders, negotiated procedures, and offers with purchasing centers and regional agreements.
* Develop and customize pharmacoeconomic data, cost-effectiveness, and budget impact models tailored to stakeholder needs.
* Establish relationships with key stakeholders, including health authorities, medical societies, scientific institutions, payers, and patient advocacy groups.
* Communicate relevant health policy changes and trends, including competitor activities, to the cross-functional team.
* Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and standards.
Qualifications
* At least 5 years in the pharmaceutical industry engaging with regional health administrations and local organizations.
* Deep knowledge of the national and regional health systems.
* Proven leadership in stakeholder relationships within health organizations.
* Strong scientific knowledge to support product value and clinical aspects.
* Successful experience in drug launches at regional and hospital levels.
* Negotiation experience regarding drug pricing and reimbursement with public health authorities.
* Strategic thinking and holistic vision.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Languages: Native Italian and good English skills.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Master’s in Science or Business.
Computer Skills
Standard computer skills required.
Travel
Approximately 75% of the time.
