The Operational Support Group (OSG) supports Trivium Packaging's European metal packaging manufacturing plants in some of the most stimulating technical & production process challenges. Our OSG experts have thorough know-how of production processes and oversee and drive CAPEX projects to increase productivity and quality. OSG has a double role as both technical expertise and knowledge transfer centre.
OSG supports Trivium overall, primarily in Europe, with technical and process expertise necessary to maintain our global leadership position in metal packaging. The OSG team consists of experts with the deepest know-how of all our production core processes. In this role, they oversee manufacturing equipment investments (CAPEX), lead projects in increasing our productivity and quality gains, and support our plants in some of the most challenging technical issues. With the renewed management attention on operations, quality, and return on capital expenditures, OSG will be involved in critical operations and CAPEX projects from an early stage.
Trivium Business System aims to Best-In-Class execution of fundamental business processes, including the end-to-end process artwork from customers - studio - litho - printing. With standardized Tools, defined processes and systematic training we target to improve Trivium’s capabilities and a common operating language.
The Litho & Printing Excellence Trainer is working in the production level of studio, pre-press, and print shop. The background of the Litho & Printing Excellence Trainer should come from one of these areas. An apprenticeship as a media designer or printer would be ideal. The trainer is the contact person for all areas of standardization and excellence for the studio and print shop production areas. The Litho & Printing Excellence Trainer reports to the Litho & Printing Excellence Manager.
**Key Responsibilities**
The Litho Print Excellence Trainer performs the following tasks on his own responsibility:
- Creation of digital training documents to be able to use them in the various production departments for studio, pre-press, and print shop.
- Planning and execution of trainings locally in the production departments as well as online.
- Understanding of current production processes and working methods and their integration into improvement processes.
- Recognition of quality improvements and possible innovations for a more efficient way of working in the production areas studio, pre-press, and print shop.
- Production support based on standards, Trivium's own standards and work instructions for working in the standard.
- Support qualification of external print shops, focusing on standard processes in place and possible gaps with TRV standards
**Requirements for the job**
- Relevant work experience covering;
- Graphic studios
- Litho
- Offset printing (Metal printing and/or UV-printing a plus)
- Fluent in English,
- Analytical and systematic approach
- Ability to devise and lead change effectively
- Team player with the ability to remove obstacles and get things done by working collaboratively and successfully across all levels of the organization

**Qualification & Skills**
The Litho & Printing Excellence Trainer should have a good comprehension. In addition communication, experience and skills are indispensable. Listening, grasping problems, as well as the appropriate communication style in the appropriate situation and environment are basic prerequisites. The Litho & Printing Excellence Trainer should be able to train, even in front of a larger auditorium. Professionally, studio and print-specific experience must be available.
