Your role
We are looking for a Senior Quality Specialist who will support the APQP EMEA team in different activities during all phases of product quality approval, starting from project validation up to mass production release, focusing on products with high quality excellence standards.
After training period, the expectation will be autonomy in decision-making and risk analysis, guided by the ability of networking with the team and other stakeholders involved in product development gates.
Main responsibilities
Analysis and qualitative approval activities of finished products from prototype to mass production, with focus on Italian plants
Analysis and qualitative approval activities of components and single parts
Review and standardization of global NPI approval procedures and workflow
Management of special projects and high visibility projects in terms of quality and price, working directly with Production Quality and Prototyping/Engineering teams
High focus on compliance with design rules, with possible revision or improvement of existing procedures to overcome testing problems, claims/return from the market
Management of transversal projects between geographies and coordination of regional APQP teams in case of criticalities (APAC, LATAM, NA, EMEA)
Main requirements
Educational background in Industrial Engineering
At least 3 years of experience in eyewear sector (employment in close contact with the eyewear product or its industrialization)
Experience in technical drawing, metrology and quality mindset
Experience with SAP and Office software with good data presentation skills
Positive and proactive attitude
Strong problem-solving skills
Good communication skills, both in Italian and English
