On behalf of our Client, a very well-established and well-known Accounting and Audit firm, we are seeking to recruit a Tax Manager to be based in Nicosia. If you have the necessary skills and experience, then GRS are looking forward to receiving your CV for this Tax Manager role in Nicosia. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Reviewing tax compliance work for a wide portfolio of clients (tax computations, assessment of areas of tax risks, preparation of tax position schedules).
2. Renew of tax returns for individuals and companies.
3. Identify and present direct tax opportunities and risks according to tax legislation, common practice, and double tax treaties.
4. Dealing with tax enquiries and investigations.
5. Represent clients in tax examinations and be actively involved in the closing of tax affairs during liquidations, strike offs, and reorganizations.
6. Prepare and/or assist with the preparation of Transfer Pricing studies for clients, in compliance with Law and Regulations and relevant OECD Guidelines.
7. Preparation of tax ruling requests.
8. Preparation of DAC-6 reports.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
9. Holder of a degree from a reputable University with a background in Law, Taxation, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
10. Qualified ACA or ACCA.
11. Four years of relevant experience in the tax practice of an audit firm or related consultancy/advisory firm.
12. Holder of ADIT or similar professional qualification would be considered an advantage.
13. VAT knowledge will be considered an advantage.
14. Excellent knowledge of Cyprus Tax Law.
15. Knowledge of EU tax directives and international tax developments.
16. Experience in TP studies and DAC-6.
17. Excellent command of the Greek and English language both written and oral.
18. IT literate.
19. Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
20. Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
