Ph3Job Description /h3 pWe are looking for a young Automation Engineer willing to join our Automation Team in Italy to learn side by side with senior colleagues how to analyze and develop production processes in order to increase the automation performances by identifying problems and studying improvements through the use of consolidated and new technologies. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDevelop the PLC software, based on the functional specifications of the software with the aim of targeting the contract's specification. /li liParticipate in the required functional tests and trials, also at suppliers' premises. /li liParticipate in the drafting of the relevant project PLC software documentation, for the purpose of issuing technical manuals and design with the operators the methods of the system's operation. /li liParticipate in the commissioning of the project, starting with I/O verification, software testing for the correct functioning of the system, and training the customer's personnel on the software developed. /li liDeal with the project's pertinent documentation both from internal and external source, particularly for the purposes of developing the required PLC software. /li liBe updated on the forthcoming technologies on the market in order to assess their application to the project's needs. /li liBe trained in Tenova training courses in order to increase the competences. /li liParticipate in the after-sales phase, providing timely assistance. /li /ul h3Required Profile /h3 ul liDegree in Automation Engineering or related technical studies. /li liKnowledge of Siemens TIA Portal and Step 7 PLC language. /li liKnowledge of PCS7 is a strong plus. /li liKnowledge of SCADA systems is appreciated. /li liExperience in the role in companies in the steel sector or in highly complex industrial automation plants is desirable. /li liFluency in English, written and spoken is mandatory; knowledge of other languages is a plus. /li liWillingness to travel worldwide for medium to long periods. /li liTeamwork is required. /li liOpen mind attitude and proactivity complete the ideal profile. /li /ul h3Seniority Level /h3 ul liEntry level /li /ul h3Employment Type /h3 ul liFull‑time /li /ul h3Job Function /h3 ul liIndustrial Machinery Manufacturing /li /ul pLocation: bGenoa, Liguria, Italy /b /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
