About the RoleAs a Microwave Wave Development Engineer, you will play a key role in the development of ODU (Outdoor Unit) subsystems for split-mount and all-outdoor microwave platforms.Working in close collaboration with system architects, hardware designers, and mechanical engineers, you will contribute to the full product lifecycle — from system definition to laboratory validation — on technologies that operate at the forefront of mmWave innovation.This is not a maintenance role. It is a design and development position within a high-performance R&D; environment.Responsibilities
Contribute to the design and development of advanced ODU subsystems in compliance with international standardsParticipate in system-level requirement definition and architecture selectionDesign, simulate, and validate microwave circuits and RF componentsPerform laboratory testing, prototype validation, and troubleshootingSupport new product introduction and internal validation processesCollaborate across multidisciplinary teams to transform specifications into high-performance hardwareEnsure rigorous documentation and engineering quality standards
Key Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic Engineering or related field1+ years of experience in active microwave design (telecom experience preferred)Understanding of point-to-point ODU architectures (1+0, 1+1, 2+0, N+0)Familiarity with radio systems up to 80 GHzKnowledge of ITU, ETSI, ANSI standards and EMC/safety complianceStrong analytical mindset and structured problem-solving approachTeam-oriented attitude and proactive engineering ownershipProficiency in English (Italian is a plus)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with microwave circuits for mobile telecom applicationsFamiliarity with MMIC design and testing processes
