Job Purpose
The Costing Intern will support the team in managing costing and purchasing processes for accessories (leathergoods and jewelry), contributing to optimizing company performance. They will have the opportunity to collaborate with various internal departments and the Merchandising team at the London Headquarters.
Main Responsibilities include:
During the internship, the candidate will gain key industry skills and be involved in the following activities:
Costing Activities
Cost Reporting & Negotiation
Updating cost and savings databases
Helping collect and manage FG Cost Sheets and FG Price Lists
Assisting in the post-edit sample analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities
Assisting in cost negotiations with vendors
Collaborating with department managers to define and monitor savings strategies
Monitoring cost trends and developing benchmarking reports
Analysis & Benchmarking
Participating in allocation and cost review meetings
Supporting the research and evaluation of alternative suppliers to improve competitiveness
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Industrial Engineering, or related fields (ongoing or recent graduate)
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools
Interest in the luxury accessories sector and cost management
Good communication skills and teamwork ability
Good knowledge of the English language
