Job Description At Mantu we are looking for a new procurement category manager, focused on indirect procurement commodities, to complete our growing department. The ideal candidate will have several years of procurement experience, and will be highly driven by challenges, data analysis and strategic thinking, topped with an industry knowledge. Your role: Collect and advice on cross-functional corporate/ business requirements Manage sourcing and procurement across indirect spend categories and a team of 5 people Conduct, develop, negotiate and close commercial contracts Be actor in group projects and critical negotiation Help define commodity road map in line with group strategy Be motor of the growth of the commodity through process implementation, spend analysis and KPI follow up Be the main link between procurement department and stakeholders (legal and finance) The category manager will work closely: with his team with our legal department to help define sourcing/contractual standard processes for yearly renewals and new needs With our finance governance in order to define the best strategy for bank, financial tools RFP´s, follow up and new products launches With our Human Resources department to homogenize our portfolio and best practices internationally Ideal Profile: Fluent in Italia and English, any other language is a plus Proven track record of RFP management for Indirect Categories Good MS office knowledge Experience in indirect procurement field is mandatory Great communication and negotiation skills A proactive person, ready to work in a fast-growing environment Ability to influence people and work in autonomy 4 years in procurement with ideally a background in HR, finance or legal commodities Mastery of Generative AI such as ChatGPT or Poe.Com is a plus for improving day to day activity.
