The EU Speed team is part of the EU Supply Chain, Transportation Planning & Operational Excellence (STEP) organization, aiming to optimize the EU end-to-end transportation network for DEA, Speed, Cost, and Carbon Intensity through design, planning, and execution. EU STEP also manages the EU Commercial Carriers portfolio.
Our main goal is to provide the right speed for the right customer, in the most cost-efficient manner. Operations are central to the Amazon customer experience, focusing on optimizing the movement of goods across Europe and working with various teams to improve logistics infrastructure and algorithms.
We are committed to rethinking our supply chain to enable faster deliveries, with the overall mission of making Amazon the go-to place for next-day delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Accelerate delivery speed across EU countries, including expansion markets.
* Utilize data to identify improvements and influence project roadmaps.
* Launch pilots for complex opportunities, build business cases, and scale successful initiatives.
* Lead business reviews, monitor project progress, and remove bottlenecks.
* Provide concise, data-driven updates to senior leadership.
* Deep dive into large datasets to uncover insights and automate improvement identification.
Basic Qualifications
* Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL.
* Experience in program or project management.
* Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
* Experience in process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
* Supply chain experience.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in end-to-end delivery and communicating results to leadership.
* Experience leading process improvements and stakeholder management.
* Skills in process building, project management, and scheduling.
