KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - Proactively ensure that customers pay amounts owed to the company before or on the due date minimizing past due at every opportunity and maximizing cash flow. - Work to build strong relations with the Customer Service team, Sales and various Brand teams ensuring queries are mínimal and resolved in a timely manner - Attend meetings with the brand teams to update on any credit issues and identify potential risks as early on as possible. - Ensure compliance with the company credit policy, business processes and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. - Review financial information, credit reports, customer pay history, etc. to recommend appropriate credit limits for assigned accounts. - Prepare periodic and ad-hoc reporting including held order release and bad debt reports for management and the business, as requested - Work closely with our cash app analyst to allocate and bank all cash received into the business accurately where needed. - Work closely with our Credit risk analyst in charge of master data to maintain the customer records as required - Identify and recommend opportunities for improvement in existing procedures and processes consistent with company policies and procedures. - Provide support and analysis for special projects, as needed. - Perform other duties as required / assigned by manager. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED - Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in busy credit control department - SAP knowledge preferred but not essential, good Excel skills - Good analytical ability - Works well under pressure, follows through on commitments and meets deadlines - Well organized and able to manage priorities - Flexible approach to work - Excellent communication skills - Good team player WORKING CONDITIONS Hybrid with the possibility to work some days from home or in our newly refurbished offices, good work life balance.
