Position overview
As a Accountant at LUCA FALONI, you will play a critical role in managing our financial operations. You will work closely with our finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory standards, and contribute to strategic financial planning. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining our financial integrity as we navigate the exciting challenges of a rapidly expanding luxury brand.
Key responsibilities
Oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to relevant accounting standards.
Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes to support business decision-making.
Collaborate with internal teams to analyse financial data, identify trends, and provide valuable insights.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage the preparation and submission of tax returns.
Assist in the implementation and improvement of financial processes and internal controls.
Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering professional growth and development.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field plus relevant qualification (ACCA qualification is highly preferred).
Proven experience in a senior accounting role, preferably within the retail or luxury goods industry.
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office Suite.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
