H3Overview /h3pThe strongEHS Specialist /strongreports to the Stewardship (EHS) Site Leader and focuses on site compliance efforts with respect to Environmental Management systems. Main activities are: /pulliManagement of waste streams (both outbound and inbound), air emissions, water discharge, utilities and raw materials consumptions /liliAssessment of the environmental impacts of the site /liliMonitor applicable regulations, code, practices and evaluate their impacts on Celanese’s management system /lilicoordinate external contractors involved in the activities above (e.g. trainers, consultants, laboratory services, …) /liliEvaluate possible impacts of internal and external changes (technological, organizational, product-related, etc) in the context of the organization /liliMonitor the correct execution and application of the Environmental procedures and practices /liliOwn the Environmental Permitting process /liliAct as a “trusted partner” for the organization, for everything related to Environment and Environmental Compliance /liliMonitor and report Environmental and Sustainability Data and indexes /liliBe and internal auditor for the EHS management system /liliBe the OCS (Operation Clean Sweep ) Champion for the site /li /ulh3Responsibilities /h3pstrongYOU will be involved in the following tasks: /strong /pulliOwnership of Environmental policies and procedures for the site /liliEnsure that local policies and procedures follow regulatory and corporate requirements /liliWork with Function Leader to ensure that environmental practices are successfully implemented and employees are adequately proficient on environmental topics and related management procedures /liliOwnership of environmental risk assessment, environmental compliance programs, environmental monitoring program and environmental improvement plan /liliReview of site Management of Change requests and Capital Project Scopes to evaluate potential environmental impacts and ensure risks are mitigated before change is approved for start-up /liliServes as an auditor in Self-Assessment program for Safety, Health, and Environmental programs /liliInvestigate and follow up on Environmental incidents /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3pstrongWhat YOU will bring to the team: /strong /pulliBachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering /liliMinimum 3 years of relevant experience working on Environmental topics; experience in chemical manufacturing is considered as a plus /liliStrong knowledge of Environmental practices and policies /liliStrong knowledge of Environmental regulations applicable to Italy and EU /liliKnowledge of ISO 14001 Certification Scheme (knowledge of the OCS program is considered a plus) /liliLanguages: Italian (fluent), English (good) /liliIT proficiencies: MS Office (good), basic CAD proficiency is considered a plus /liliAble to work with and communicate effectively with all levels in the organization /liliRSPP A and B qualifications (Safety Manager qualifications according to Italian Decree 81/08) are considered a plus /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
