Guests will enjoy a curated alpine experience with activities such as skiing, hiking, mountain climbing, and ice skating, along with a dedicated Kid’s Club. /p h3About The Job /h3 pWe're looking for a driven Director of Finance responsible for the determination of optimum control objectives and for the installation and maintenance of appropriate internal control systems over income, expenditure, assets and liabilities within the hotel. /p pBeyond numbers, you’ll inspire a culture of responsiveness and collaboration within your team; creating a unified approach to achieving financial and operational excellence. This is your opportunity to influence key decisions, partner with senior leadership, and make a tangible impact on the success of our hotel. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liTo manage, supervise and support all subordinate employees, with a view to optimising the profitability of the hotel and improving the guest experience. /li liTo initiate employee development and evaluation programmes for all subordinate staff to ensure the highest level of professional competence and efficient continuity within those positions. /li liTo organise an efficient treasury function to provide proper management of the hotel’s working capital and cash flow in accordance with MOHG minimum guidelines and within the requirements of the hotel’s management contract. Also, to ensure excessive investment is not made in receivables or inventories and that sufficient liquidity is maintained to meet the hotel’s obligations. /li liTo ensure all financial reports, budgets, forecasts and other information required by MOHG are accurately compiled and submitted within the specified time limits, identifying variances and making recommendations for improvements as appropriate. /li liTo personally review forecasts and budgets prepared by hotel management to ensure the General Manager and MOHG corporate management are provided with guidelines of performance that are both reasonable and achievable. /li liTo ensure all legal, treasury and tax documentation is properly maintained and secured and that all statutory and fiscal reporting requirements are satisfied, which will include any governmental requirement for permits and licences. /li liTo continuously monitor economic, social and governmental trends and policies to ensure the General Manager and MOHG corporate management are kept fully apprised of any implications which may affect the performance of the hotel in meeting its financial objectives. /li liTo ensure adequate controls are installed and maintained for the protection of the hotel’s assets against loss or misappropriation. /li liTo ensure adequate insurance coverage is maintained to protect the assets of the hotel with particular regard to the requirements contained in the hotel’s management contract. /li liAssume full responsibility for the proper control of all cash funds and other assets for subordinates. /li liTo establish a comprehensive credit and collection policy for the hotel, based on good industry practice and within the guidelines provided by MOHG. /li liTo carry out any other duties that may be reasonably requested by the General Manager or MOHG corporate management. /li liManaging and overseeing internal external audits. /li liRisk Management Committee participation. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liProven experience managing Finance operations in luxury hospitality environments. /li liStrong knowledge of local tax laws, regulatory compliance and internal controls. /li liProven track record in budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting. /li liExperience with hotel-specific financial systems is a strong advantage. /li liExcellent leadership and team management skills. /li liSound understanding of safety, environmental, and building regulations. /li liEffective problem-solving and organizational abilities. /li liStrong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally. /li liFlexibility to handle emergencies and work varied shifts. /li liFluency in Italian and English; other languages are advantageous. /li liDegree or certification in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration. /li /ul h3Our Commitment To You /h3 ul liLearning Development.
