We are looking for a bDirect Buyer Intern /b to join our Purchasing team and support key activities that ensure an efficient and reliable production process. In this role, you will support daily purchasing operations, interact with suppliers, and help maintain accurate and up‑to‑date data. You will gain hands-on experience in order management, supplier performance monitoring, and purchasing analytics discovering how Procurement contributes to business continuity every day. /p pTo support these objectives, you will take part in a range of hands‑on procurement tasks, such as: /p ul liOrders management for a determined packaging assortment /li liPreparation and verification with suppliers of the list of open orders, collaboration and communication with the internal customers in order to avoid shortages. /li liEnsure the updating of the price lists of the delegated direct suppliers and manage the electronic archiving process in compliance with Corporate procedures /li liMaintenance of all relevant master data (including packaging cockpit) /li liSupport in phase in /phase out processes in case of change of packaging codes /li liOrder management of trial materials in compliance with the Company procedures /li liIssue return orders to suppliers for the complained raw materials /li liSupport in the management and calculation of the Grüner Punkt (German packaging tax) /li liProceed to the customs clearance of the returned material /li liEntering new delegated direct suppliers into the system, following the standard group process /li liSupport for the development and analysis/evaluation of departmental indicators /li liSupport in function projects /li liSupport stock and order management (mainly stationery and work clothes) /li liSupport requests for bids from suppliers for consumables and non-catalogued service /li /ul h3What you will need /h3 ul liCourse of study in economics or business administration /li liKnowledge of OFFICE (Excel, Word, Power Point), SAP optional /li liAbility to read, analyze and interpret data /li liProblem solving /li liGood knowledge of English - spoken and written (B1) /li liExcellent Italian (C2) /li liResidence/Domicile: province of Varese or Como /li /ul pIf you’re looking for an internship where you can really make an impact, this opportunity is for you! /p h3What you can expect /h3 ptesa is one of the world's leading manufacturers of adhesive tape solutions, with a range of more than 7,000 products.
