Operating in a low-volume, high-complexity production environment, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the storage, handling, and flow of high-value components with long lead times, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy, traceability, and efficiency.brThe warehouse plays a central role in supporting multiple production areas with potentially diverse needs, from projects requiring project-specific (make-to-order) inventory management to others operating with shared or stock-based logistics.brstrongKey Responsibilities:br/strongulliLead and manage all warehouse activities, including goods receipt, storage, inventory control, kitting, and dispatch. /liliEnsure full traceability and documentation for all parts and assemblies, in compliance with internal standards. /liliMaintain accurate inventory records using ERP systems; conduct regular audits and cycle counts. /liliManage and adapt warehouse operations to support different production models (e.g., project-based, stock-based), ensuring tailored material flows for each area. /liliCollaborate with Engineering, Procurement, and Production teams to align material availability with project timelines. /liliManage proper storage conditions (e.g., ESD, temperature-sensitive items) /liliCoordinate incoming inspections and ensure alignment with quality standards. /liliOptimize warehouse layout and processes to support efficiency and minimize handling risks. /liliLead and develop a small team of warehouse personnel, ensuring continuous training and adherence to safety procedures. /liliMonitor and improve KPIs related to warehouse operations.br/li /ulstrongRequired Skills:br/strongulliDegree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field. /liliProven experience (5+ years) in warehouse/logistics management, preferably in high-tech sectors. /liliStrong knowledge of inventory management systems (WMS/ERP/MRP) and warehouse best practices. /liliFamiliarity with Infor LN ERP system is highly preferred. /liliExperience in managing materials in environments with heterogeneous production requirements (e.g., make-to-order vs. make-to-stock). /liliFamiliarity with aerospace quality standards (e.g, ECSS) is a plus. /liliExcellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities. /liliUnderstanding of export control regulations (e.g., ITAR, EAR). /liliExcellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset. /liliFluent in Italian and English (spoken and written)br/li /ulAt D-Orbit, diversity and inclusivity are not just values, they are integral to our mission and the way we operate.
