With $6.9 billion in sales, a strong customer base and global reach spanning nearly 70 countries, we are uniquely positioned to deliver greater value to our customers and create new opportunities for our people. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liTranslate software and hardware requirements into concise and robust programming code and document it, work as a team player with other Controls Engineers to match the customer needs. /li liProvide solid configuration management to each part of the project and act according to release plans. /li liProvide software support to all areas of the company that requires it, such as Sales, Offering, System Engineering, Procurement, Operation and Service. /li liTranslate high level application requirements into Software Specifications, producing the related deliverables (documentation, scope of operations, test plans). /li liDesign, develop and implement PLC programs and applications that respond to given requirements. /li liPerform prototyping, application tests and code reviews to ensure product quality. /li liValidate the released software attending tests in lab and occasionally in the field, reporting bugs and proposing possible improvements. /li liDeliver training and product handover to relevant stakeholders – Academy, Application Engineering and Service. /li liMaintain existing software baselines, perform debugging, testing, code improvement and re‑designing tasks, including the configuration management process. /li liReview hardware and components evolution and phase‑in/phase‑out, adapting and redesigning according to the need. /li liCollaborate with Service and Quality teams to optimize products and ensure products stay up‑to‑date and continue to satisfy customer needs. /li liCoordinate troubleshooting of high‑level PLC issues, with development teams and appropriate methodology. /li liPrepare training documents for maintenance and production teams, explaining the operation and troubleshooting of complex control systems. /li /ul h3What will make you successful? /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Information or a related field) or the equivalent combination of education and/or years of relevant work experience. /li liMinimum 2 years relevant project experience working with controls and automation equipment related to development, debugging, setup as well as support and troubleshooting of industrial chillers and/or air conditioners. /li liUnderstanding of programming logic controllers according to IEC 61131‑3 standards or similar. /li liIdeally, also understanding of other programming and scripting languages (C/C++, C#, Javascript, HTML), even academic. /li liMS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and general computer literacy. /li liGood English written and oral communication skills. /li liMust be a self‑starter, team player, work well with others and have a positive attitude. /li liMust be a creative thinker, results oriented, focused, and attentive to detail and accuracy. /li liMust have ability to prioritize, multi‑task and meet deadlines. /li liSharp, quick, dedicated and innovative problem solver. /li /ul h3Core Principals Behaviors /h3 pbOUR CORE PRINCIPALS: /b Safety.
