About Mareblu Mareblu is a leading company in the seafood sector, specialized in the production and marketing of fresh and frozen fish products. Recognized in its field and currently experiencing strong growth and innovation, Mareblu is looking for a Finance Director (M/F) to lead all fiscal, financial, and accounting matters, while supporting the General Manager in strategic decision-making. Finance Director (M/F) – Mareblu Your Responsibilities Reporting to the General Manager, you will play a key role as a Business Partner and oversee all financial and fiscal activities of the company. Your main duties will include: Financial leadership & operations : Manage the Finance team (5 direct reports) and supervise all accounting, tax, and financial operations. External relations : Build and manage relationships with statutory auditors, internal/external auditors, tax authorities, consultants, and lawyers. Performance management : Define, monitor, and challenge financial and commercial KPIs (aging receivables, inventory, profitability by product and customer, NSV targets, marketing & SGA spending). Reporting & strategy : Prepare and present financial reports for monthly and yearly closing, as well as budget, mid-term, and long-term strategic plans. Compliance & governance : Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies, prepare statutory financial statements, management reports, explanatory notes, and act as Company Secretary for Board of Directors and Shareholder meetings. Strategic partnership : Support the General Manager on strategic projects (optimization, synergies with affiliated companies, European M&A opportunities, industrial and commercial initiatives). HR & organization : Supervise payroll processes in collaboration with the payroll provider and HR, approve transactions and contracts according to POA, and oversee GBS HUB team performance. Your Profile Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent. Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role, ideally within an international environment. Strong expertise in tax, accounting, and financial performance management. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate closely with senior leadership.
