ICS Milan is seeking a proactive, approachable and service-oriented IT Support Technician to join our school-based IT team.
This is a full-time, on-site position focused primarily on supporting teaching staff and classroom technology. The successful candidate will act as the first point of contact for technical issues and will play a key role in ensuring the smooth daily operation of our international school environment.
This role requires daily interaction in English. A positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Provide first-line, on-site IT support to teaching and administrative staff
Respond promptly and professionally to technical issues
Support classroom technology, including interactive displays, projectors and teacher devices
Troubleshoot hardware, software and network-related issues
Install, configure and maintain Windows-based workstations
Provide basic support for Apple devices (Mac and iPad)
Coordinate with external IT providers when necessary
Contribute to maintaining a stable and efficient IT environment
We Are Looking For a Candidate Who
Has previous experience in IT support or technical assistance roles
Is comfortable interacting daily with teachers and non-technical users
Demonstrates patience, approachability and a calm attitude under pressure
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Is confident entering classrooms and providing support during lessons
Has solid knowledge of Windows environments (Microsoft 365, Active Directory)
Has basic understanding of networking (LAN, WiFi)
Has a high level of spoken and written English (essential requirement)
Works well in a team and maintains a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
Experience in an educational or international environment is an advantage but not essential.
