We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to join our team!
Qualifications
Requirements:
* Previous experience in accounting field for at least 3 years
* Competency in XERO software, Employment Hero and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
* Must have experience with NDIS, SCHADS Award, month end process
* Knowledge of home care services industry is a plus.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and issue invoices for NDIS, private and brokerage clients
* Prepare and manage quotes for NDIS, private, and brokerage clients
* Maintain aged receivables for all clients and follow up outstanding balances
* Manage NDIS and client documentation, including plans, agreements, and funding records
* Perform monthly reconciliations (Visual Care vs Xero), balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end journals
* Calculate and process worker travel and kilometre reimbursements, including complex travel claims
* Provide guidance to workers on correct kilometre claiming and respond to related queries
* Provide payroll cover and general finance support when required
* Work closely with internal teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting
