The team leverages natural language understanding (Generative AI), machine learning, and big data to help Alexa identify sensitive content. We serve customers in Classic Alexa and LLM-based environments with tier-1 services and tools that enable a fun, engaging conversational experience with Alexa. We are looking for a self-driven and inspired Software Development Engineer who can work across the business domains and build sensitivity detection solutions. Key job responsibilities: Own feature enhancements end to end, collaborate with product and science, design, develop, and launch in production. Participate in design reviews/code reviews and contribute to the team's deliverables. A Software Development Engineer in Alexa Sensitive Content Intelligence will develop the design for complex, cross functional, multimodal and multi-locale applications. The engineer will own the technical areas supporting Generative AI Large Language Model (LLM) based services and customer-facing applications. They will forge alliances with upstream and downstream engineering teams to deliver services and create mechanisms for end-to-end integration. You will build low-latency services that are optimized for performance to meet the classic Alexa and LLM-based customer interaction expectations. A Software Development Engineer will own full-stack software development and contribute to all aspects of an agile software development lifecycle, including design, architecture, development, documentation, testing, and operations. You will work with scientists, engineers, and product managers to influence the design of customer-facing features and products. The role will implement services and features that impact customer experience across all modalities and functions. Mentor junior engineers. Basic Qualifications 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience. 2 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems experience. 3 years of Video Games Industry experience (supporting title development, release, or Live Ops). Experience programming with at least one software programming language. Preferred Qualifications 3 years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
