Company Description

Masseria Pavone is a family-run three-star hotel located in the beautiful countryside of Puglia. We aim to offer our guests an authentic experience of our wonderful region in a relaxed and picturesque setting. The Masseria dates back to the 16th century and has been lovingly renovated by the Pavone family over the past twenty years. The hotel has been exclusively family-run for the past five years.

We are a small business currently seeking to expand our outreach and offer an even richer experience to our guests, while maintaining the true identity and charm of the place.

We host a variety of events, including pre- and post-wedding parties, large gatherings, and cultural festivals. Additionally, we own a winery where wine tastings have been held in the past (currently under renovation).

Our on-site team consists of two to three staff members—a receptionist and two cleaning ladies—while management is handled remotely by four family members.

Role Description

This is a hybrid role. The Guest Relations Manager will work remotely during the low season and on-site during the high season (end of April to end of October).

- Low season
responsibilities (
tempo parziale, remote
): Communicate with prospective guests, respond to their requests (e.g., organizing special events or experiences), manage company social media accounts, and coordinate events.
- High season
responsibilities (
full-time, on-site
): Be on-site to assist the receptionist with check-ins and check-outs - especially for non-Italian-speaking guests - handle guest complaints and requests, and collaborate with event organizers and local partners.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and management skills to coordinate effectively with the rest of the team. They will also develop and implement strategies - especially by networking with local businesses - to enhance the overall guest experience.

Accommodation assistance is available during the summer months, and off-season accommodation can be arranged upon request.

Qualifications and skills

- Previous experience in hospitality or a related field is required.
- Diploma from a hotel management or hospitality institute is a plus.
- Fluency in Italian and English is mandatory.
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests and staff.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and creativity.
- Flexibility
and open-mindedness.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays during the peak season.

This is an excellent opportunity to engage in a role that can grow into a long-term career with us. After an initial trial period, we will evaluate the potential for you to become our permanent manager.
