The position is based in Piossasco, IT. /p h3Experience Required /h3 p2+ to 5 Years /p h3Career Level /h3 pExperienced /p h3Education Required /h3 pBachelor’s Degree /p pBachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering or Information Technology or equivalent technical background. /p h3Preferred Location /h3 ul liPiossasco (TO). /li liGenova would be an alternative location as well. /li liPiossasco (TO) or Genoa /li /ul h3Electronic/Software Engineering degree /h3 h3Accountabilities /h3 ul liRequirement analysis /li liResponsible for ensuring successful on time, on budget delivery of an engineering and software solution /li liResponsible for leading work packet Project Monitoring and Control activities including maintaining schedule, CTC, MPR updates, meeting minutes, risk register, and change orders /li liPrioritization and monitoring of software problem report status, and execution of tasks within functional areas that includes engineering and software development activities /li liFacilitates scope/requirement discussions with technical teams and customer /li liActive participation in optimal overall project technical solution /li liSupport to HW SW design e commissioning /li liSupport for test on site with customer /li /ul h3Required Skills Experience /h3 ul liVery good English written and spoken; /li liMinimum 5 years’ experience as project engineer or lead systems/software engineer for large software control system applications /li liExperience with basic Project Management: /li /ul ul liMaintaining and controlling budget /li liSchedule monitoring/development, /li liMaintaining risk register, /li liResource and task management /li /ul ul liGood understanding and/or prior experience with software development lifecycles, delivery, and HW/SW integration lifecycle /li liPrior experience with Microsoft Office suite, scheduling software (MS Project or Primavera), requirements management systems, and software configuration tools /li liPrior experience managing small-medium sized projects and project teams /li liDemonstrated ability to lead, engage, and manage tasking of cross-functional teams of varying skills/experience /li liSuccess with multi-tasking across multiple projects at given time /li liBuilds effective relationships and has exceptional communication and leadership skills /li liDetail oriented with excellent organizational skills /li liExperience in manage project in international context /li /ul h3Desired Skills Experience /h3 ul liSome knowledge on Data Base, SW e programming languages /li liPrefer rail or rail transit domain experience, but not required /li liFamiliar with Automatic Train Supervision(ATS) products, technology, and project deliverables /li liPrefer prior experience supporting Bids and Proposals for new work /li liExperience with overall systems architecture design /li liExperience with robust, mission critical control systems /li liExperience with providing leadership in either a functional management or project management role /li liMore then 5 years of experience are a plus /li /ul h3Thank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail /h3 pIf your application is of interest, we will be in contact.
