HEM is organized into three strategic business units as follows: Huber Advanced Materials, Huber Specialty Minerals and Huber AgroSolutions. /pbPurpose of Job: /bpAs a Reliability Engineer for Huber Engineered Materials, you will play a key role in enhancing the reliability and performance of equipment and processes across our EMEA manufacturing sites. Leveraging your engineering expertise, you will work on large rotating equipment, milling, drying, and various packaging operations. /ppWorking closely with Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations teams, you will identify, prioritize, and implement improvement initiatives aimed at increasing reliability, eliminating failures, and reducing operational costs. This role offers the opportunity to make a measurable impact across multiple plants in the region. /pbMain Responsibilities: /bulliPartner closely with Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to improve equipment availability and process reliability, with a focus on reducing unplanned production losses. /liliLead engineering projects that deliver innovative, practical solutions to increase equipment and process reliability. /liliWork in partnership with area Maintenance to address reliability and maintainability challenges, reduce costs, and improve overall productivity. /liliProvide technical support during plant outages and shutdowns. /liliApply Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies to solve problems and eliminate operational risks. /liliDrive and support reliability initiatives within your assigned area of responsibility. /liliAnalyze data from SAP, reliability systems, and production logs to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities. /liliLead and manage Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) investigations to address recurring issues and prevent future failures. /liliConduct and oversee Failure Modes and Effects Analyses (FMEA) on critical production assets. /liliOffer reliability engineering input into capital projects to ensure long-term performance and maintainability. /liliProvide hands-on technical leadership across all levels of the plant organization, with a strong focus on collaboration with maintenance teams. /liliFacilitate and guide problem-solving teams in identifying, designing, and implementing effective reliability improvements. /li /ulbRequirements Qualifications: /bulliBachelors degree in Engineering is required; a degree in Mechanical Engineering is highly preferred. /liliMinimum of 5 years of reliability engineering experience, ideally within the chemical, mining, or a related industrial environment. /liliProven hands-on experience with rotating equipment such as pumps, blowers, roller mills, ball mills, and compressors. /liliExperience conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using recognized methodologies. /liliFamiliarity with asset management systems and experience managing preventive and predictive maintenance plans (Oracle preferred). /liliSolid knowledge of common process equipment, including pumps, fans, agitators, motors, valves, and instrumentation. /liliBasic understanding of electrical power distribution systems. /liliKnowledge of predictive and diagnostic technologies for both rotating and fixed equipment. /liliSelf-motivated and capable of managing a diverse portfolio of projects independently. /liliExcellent verbal and written communication skills with a high level of proficiency in English. /liliWillingness and ability to work hands-on in the field with mechanics and operators as necessary in response to urgent critical equipment troubleshooting. /liliProficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. /liliStrong interpersonal and facilitation skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively. /liliDemonstrated commitment to Environment, Health Safety (EHS) standards and performance. /li /ulpReady to make an impact?
