The Recruiter will work with a team of recruiting professionals focusing on finding the best distribution and operations professionals across the country, fostering a collaborative team environment and a strong service‐oriented culture that ensures delivery of efficient, effective, quality‐driven service to internal customers.Key RequirementsThe candidate must be able to successfully manage, prioritize and close searches against a timeline and have experience setting benchmarks, metrics, and understand how to prioritize to hit all customer SLAs. They thrive in an innovative, fast‐paced environment, can roll up their sleeves, work hard, have fun, and get the job done. The best candidates will have a reputation for being exceptional at candidate generation in a high volume environment and possess strong verbal and written communication skills. They will need to demonstrate an ability to prioritize their time, demonstrate pushback and a sense of urgency, and understand the value of providing amazing customer service.Core Responsibilities

Recruit passive candidates with the mentality to profile people and gauge chemistry of candidates for fit and understand their motivation rather than sell a role.Build and maintain network of potential candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management.Conduct in‐depth interviews of potential candidates, demonstrating ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high offer‐to‐interview ratios.Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long‐range growth of the company.Implement new processes and fine‐tune standard processes for recruiting that fit within Amazon's mission to deliver the highest quality results to the customer.Articulate in writing a plan with deliverables, timelines and a formal tracking process.

Sourcing and Candidate Engagement

Proactively source passive candidates using Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, X‐ray search/Open web and other sourcing channels for remote sites.Conduct candidate outreach and engagement to build interest and assess right fit.Filter the right candidates during recruiter phone screen.

Screening and Evaluation

Conduct on‐phone and virtual candidate screening process to assess qualification and skill alignment.Use Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, X‐ray search/Open web, GitHub and other sourcing tools.

Must‐Have Skills

Boolean and Advanced Search: Create targeted Boolean strings to identify candidates with niche technical skills across LinkedIn, X‐ray search/Open web, GitHub, trade forums and specialized job boards.

Candidate Engagement for Passive Talent

Skilled at requirement gathering, sourcing and screening candidates in specialized technical fields.Articulate role‐based value proposition to the candidate.Build strategies and brainstorm to create efficient and creative sourcing solutions for stakeholders.

Good to Have

Market Intelligence: Understand the talent market to source the right talent from targeted organizations.Experience in any 1 or 2 Tech hiring domain will be an added advantage.Experience of hiring Full stack, Back‐end and Front‐end engineers.Data Analytics including Data Scientist (AI/ML) and Engineers.Understanding of any 2‐3 Programming languages or key tech stacks like Python, Java, SQL, ETL, data pipelines, Hadoop, Spark, Big Data, or similar technical landscape.

Location & Timing

Locations: Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, and Gurgaon (Remote role).Timing: 6:00 PM - 3:00 AM IST.

Key job responsibilities

Proven ability and sharp on the feet to proactively source passive candidates using Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, X‐ray search/ Open web and other sourcing channels for remote sites.Experience in conducting candidate outreach and engagement to build interest and assess right fit, with ability to filter the right candidates during recruiter phone screen.

About the teamThe role holder will be a part of Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS) team, which is a central sourcing team for WW Amazon Talent Acquisition (ATA) team. We scout bar raising talent spanning across Americas (NA, LATAM), Europe, AMET and India, to enable and scale cost‐efficient sourcing solutions in Tech, Non‐Tech and High volume space.Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or above.Experience building and driving talent sourcing initiatives and pipelines.Experience in progressive corporate or search firm recruiting with a focus on passive engineering candidate generation in a high‐tech market.2+ years of passive candidate generation experience.Experience executing recruiting strategy, including employer promotion in the marketplace, candidate management, diversity sourcing, and interview process management.Boolean and Advanced Search.

Preferred Qualifications

1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
