Apply sourcing policy, interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets. Roles and Responsibilities

- Place and follow-up on POs
- Provide documentations needed for import, quality,…
- Support accounting to solve invoice mismatch on assigned suppliers
- Manage relationships with suppliers for PO execution
- Manage problems and schedule changes (keep tack on expected delivery dates on site with assigned suppliers)
- Update ERP
- Prevent or expedite missing parts, check availability of materials, keep inventory low.
- According to defined kpi: Assess supplier capabilities and make recommendations on supplier acceptability
- Understand strategies for assigned commodities & proactively drive initiatives to meet Sourcing objectives
- Analyze and track Supplier promise date accuracy and develop reports to ensure Supplier promise date accuracy
- Support commodity buys
- Write reports to track PO activity and supplier performance
- Communicate with direct team and supervisor
- Contribute to project as a team member
Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Sourcing, or similar experience)
- Start date: no later than end of June
- Valid working permit for Italy
- WORK STYLE: mainly office work with flexibility of remote, candidate is ready to work in presence at Sesto San Giovanni office (note: no travel allowance available)
