Job Description:
A leading eCommerce agency is looking for a highly strategic Account Director to lead one of their largest Amazon clients across Europe. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in high-impact environments and wants to shape the future of a multi-category brand across Amazon platforms.
As the strategic lead, you’ll oversee a major Amazon Ads account with multiple product categories and multiple stakeholders. You’ll guide two high-performing Account Managers and work closely with the broader European team to drive performance, innovation, and strategic clarity.
? What You’ll Do
- Own the Amazon advertising strategy (PPC and DSP) for a key client
- Act as the primary strategic partner across regional and global brand stakeholders
- Lead internal planning and external communications to ensure campaign alignment and success
- Guide and coach Account Managers, ensuring best-in-class execution and insight-driven planning
- Develop scalable strategies that combine ad performance, creative, and retail insight
- Navigate and coordinate across multiple markets, teams, and timelines
What They’re Looking For
- Deep expertise in Amazon PPC and DSP advertising, with a strong understanding of retail media
- Strategic thinker with experience working across complex client environments
- Excellent client-facing communication skills; confident leading senior-level conversations
- Highly organised and able to delegate effectively in fast-paced settings
- Experience with cross-market strategy or consumer electronics is a plus
- Fluency in French, German, Spanish, or Italian is highly desirable
- You’ll report to a Senior Director
- You'll manage a team of two experienced Account Managers
- Collaborate with a wider team across Europe, all focused on eCommerce excellence
