Job Overview We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled E2E Telecom System Engineer to join our team and play a critical role in defining the end-to-end architecture of our next generation European LEO satellite communications system (IRIS²). You’ll work closely with internal engineers, architects, product and business development managers, and external suppliers, leading the development of system components. Your responsibilities include writing technical requirements, performing system trade studies, defining the concept of operations, and maintaining the technical baseline, including interface definitions. You will collaborate with the program and the Integration & Test team to ensure the system is developed and fit for purpose. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact within an organization that values growth, teamwork, and professional development. Who You Are : You’re a system engineer with experience in architecting and deploying large multi-user, bi-directional wireless communications systems, not necessarily satellite-based. You’ve worked with or for communication system component suppliers, leading design reviews from either the supplier or customer side. You have a deep understanding of system development, integration, verification, and validation processes. You possess 5-10 years of industry experience. What You’ll Do : Define and maintain key sub-system interface documentation and schemas. Ensure consistency of data streams across interfaces (internal and external) to maintain end-to-end system coherence. Define the functional composition of the entire communications system, specifying which subsystems perform various tasks. Develop and implement processes for architectural decisions and interface changes, using appropriate tools. Manage the Interface Management Plan, working with subsystem leaders and system architects to ensure system coherence at interfaces. Define CONOPS to clearly specify system functional flows. What You’ll Need : Along with systems engineering experience, you should have deep expertise in: Integration of all system segments including Payload, Mission Segment, Core Network, RAN, User Terminal, BSS, and OSS. Adapting communication systems for satellite deployments. Security and integrity protection of User Data and control systems. You should also have experience with requirements management and model-based systems engineering software tools. Where You’ll Work : Ideally based at Eutelsat Group headquarters within the European Union, in Paris, France, or Torino, Italy. Flexible in-office and remote work arrangements. J-18808-Ljbffr
