You’ll contribute directly to improving how our production processes perform—making them safer, more efficient, and more sustainable. Your work will support daily operations and long-term improvements at our Castel San Pietro plant. As part of the Danfoss Power Solutions team, you’ll gain hands‑on exposure to real manufacturing challenges while learning how engineering, maintenance, quality, and safety come together on the shop floor. This internship is designed to give you practical experience, responsibility from day one, and a strong foundation for a future career in operations or process engineering. /p h3What You’ll Be Doing /h3 ul liAnalyze existing production processes through data collection, shop‑floor observation, and process mapping to identify improvement opportunities /li liSupport continuous improvement initiatives by applying Lean principles, 5S, and waste reduction practices /li liPrepare and update technical reports and KPIs related to production and maintenance performance /li liCollaborate with production, quality, and safety teams on non‑conformities and root cause analysis /li liContribute to industrialization activities, including new product introduction, process cycles, and work instructions /li /ul h3What We’re Looking For /h3 ul liEnrollment in a Mechanical Engineering, Management Engineering, or similar degree, suitable for a curricular internship /li liAbility to work on site for 3–6 months starting in summer (June–September) /li liSolid analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a collaborative mindset /li liProficiency in Microsoft Office for data analysis and reporting /li liGood command of Italian and English, both written and spoken /li /ul h3What You’ll Get From Us /h3 ul liWe promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities /li liYou’ll have flexibility, autonomy, and support to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work‑life balance.
