Job Description Summary

You will be responsible for developing and leading the quality management systems of the Aero Alliance JV Avenza and Kollsnes sites. Furthermore, you will be the entry contact point for customer escaping defects and responsible for initiating and leading escaping defects root cause analysis.

Roles and Responsibilities

* Responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the quality management for the Avenza and Kollsnes sites according to ISO 9001 requirements.
* Lead Avenza and Kollsnes sites towards ISO 9001 compliance and certification maintenance.
* Responsible for coordinating internal and external audit plans.
* Responsible for leading escaping defects root cause analysis and for the identification and implementation of corrective/preventive actions.
* Act as main point of contact on quality issues and improvement plans with channels and customers.
* Constantly monitor and report QMS KPI to leadership.
* Responsible for maintaining QMS procedures updated through extensive collaborations with all functions.
* Drive and influence the organization at all levels towards a “zero defect” culture.

Required Qualifications

* Master's Degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent experience.
* Excellent English communication skills (written and oral).
* Prior experience in leading ISO 9001 audits.
* Demonstrated knowledge of Quality Management System tools, continuous improvement methodologies, and in-depth understanding of site level products and related processes.

Desired Characteristics

* Quality Assurance/Quality Engineering experience in the Aerospace or Aviation industry or experience in design engineering or manufacturing engineering in Aerospace, Aviation, or Oil and Gas field.
* Demonstrated expertise to effectively communicate within all levels of the organization.
* Demonstrated ability to lead, acknowledge, develop, communicate, and implement a strategy under crisis situations to ensure compliance.
* Ability to multi-task and handle tasks with competing priorities effectively.
* Strong technical aptitude (i.e., able to read and comprehend technical documentation and execute procedures), global regulatory experience, and demonstrated experience interfacing with regulators.
