Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and motivated Junior Graphic Designer to join our team in our Milan studio. This is an excellent opportunity for a young creative with a strong design sensibility and a deep curiosity for visual and cultural research.
The position is on-site and structured as an initial 1-year collaboration, focused around two creative seasons (Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter), with the possibility of extension based on performance and shared goals.
At LDF, research is a key part of every project. We’re looking for someone who not only knows how to design, but who also loves to collect, explore, and translate references into visual thinking.
Key Responsibilities
· Support the team in developing visual concepts, logos, and brand systems.
· Conduct iconographic, visual, and cultural research to support moodboards and creative development.
· Translate research into visual language through moodboards, reference curation, and early design
proposals.
· Work on typography, layout, and graphic design for both print and digital outputs (editorial, branding,
packaging, social media, etc.).
· Collaborate closely with Art Directors to ensure quality, coherence, and creative evolution.
· Assist in finalizing and delivering design assets for production or digital use.
Requirements
· 1–2 years of experience in a creative studio, agency, or strong academic portfolio.
· Strong visual culture and passion for visual research (editorial, artistic, conceptual).
· Proficiency in logo design, typography, and editorial composition.
· Solid understanding of graphic design principles and attention to visual detail.
· Good eye for layout, rhythm, and type hierarchy.
· Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
· Curiosity, critical thinking, and a collaborative mindset.
· Based in Milan and available to work in person at our studio.
Nice to Have
· Motion design or basic video editing skills.
· Experience with social media visual formats.
· Familiarity with tools like Figma or Canva.
