In this Finance Controller role, you will oversee financial operations, reporting, and control for the Italian region across multiple schools. You will partner with school leadership and central finance to ensure robust governance, accurate reporting, and strategic support. You will drive performance monitoring, budgeting, and timely management accounts in a fast-growing, international environment. * Oversee end-to-end revenue processes and IFRS 15-compliant revenue recognition
* Analyze revenue variances versus budget and forecast with clear explanations
* Oversee financial reporting across multiple schools in the Italian region
* Prepare and review monthly management accounts for accuracy and timeliness
* Own monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve issues promptly
* Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial controls
* Support budgeting and forecasting with ownership on revenue lines
* Monitor financial performance to identify risks and improvement opportunities
* Drive continuous improvements and efficiencies across finance processesEnsure robust financial governance and internal controls are maintained
Responsabilità
* Significant experience in a Finance Controller or similar role
* Strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise
* Experience managing multi-entity or regional finance operations
* Good understanding of balance sheet mechanics and monthly reconciliations
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
* High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
* Fluent English; Italian strongly preferred
* Legal right to live and work in Italy
