The position is based in bPiossasco, IT /b. /p h3Experience Required /h3 p2+ to 5 Years /p h3Career Level /h3 pExperienced /p h3Education Required /h3 pBachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or an equivalent technical background. /p h3Location /h3 ul li Piossasco (TO). /li li Genoa is an alternative location. /li /ul h3Accountabilities /h3 ul liRequirement analysis. /li liEnsure successful on‑time, on‑budget delivery of engineering and software solutions. /li liLead work packet project monitoring and control activities, including schedule, CTC, MPR updates, meeting minutes, risk register, and change orders. /li liPrioritise and monitor software problem report status, executing tasks within functional areas that include engineering and software development activities. /li liFacilitate scope/requirement discussions with technical teams and customers. /li liActive participation in optimal overall project technical solutions. /li liSupport HW SW design and commissioning. /li liSupport on‑site testing with customers. /li /ul h3Required Skills Experience /h3 ul liVery good written and spoken English. /li liMinimum 5 years’ experience as a project engineer or lead systems/software engineer for large software control system applications. /li liExperience with basic project management: maintaining and controlling budget, schedule monitoring/development, maintaining risk register, resource and task management. /li liGood understanding of software development life‑cycles, delivery, and HW/SW integration life‑cycle. /li liPrior experience with Microsoft Office, scheduling software (MS Project or Primavera), requirements management systems, and software configuration tools. /li liPrior experience managing small‑medium sized projects and project teams. /li liDemonstrated ability to lead, engage, and manage the tasking of cross‑functional teams of varying skills/experience. /li liSuccess with multi‑tasking across multiple projects simultaneously. /li liBuilds effective relationships and has exceptional communication and leadership skills. /li liDetail oriented with excellent organisational skills. /li liExperience managing projects in an international context. /li /ul h3Desired Skills Experience /h3 ul liSome knowledge of database, software programming languages. /li liPreferred rail or rail transit domain experience. /li liFamiliarity with Automatic Train Supervision (ATS) products, technology, and project deliverables. /li liPreferred prior experience supporting bids and proposals for new work. /li liExperience with overall systems architecture design. /li liExperience with robust, mission‑critical control systems. /li liExperience providing leadership in either a functional management or project management role. /li liMore than 5 years of experience is a plus. /li /ul pThank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.
