We are looking for an individual who will be responsible for source selection and identifying, tracking and implementing cost savings actions to achieve year-over-year productivity targets for their respective category using global benchmarking in order to leverage spend and optimize purchasing synergy. Someone who will be responsible for creating, developing and executing procurement activities to minimize total cost of acquisition while maximizing sustainable and operational performance across the enterprise to ensure a benchmark total cost of ownership as well as drive profitability and growth coupled with high levels of delivery and quality performance. One person who will manage all procurement activities and secure challenging and complex multi-level procurement agreements, promoting supplier relationship management and early supplier engagement. The position is based in Minerbio (Bologna) and will report to our Cylinders Category Manager. Willingness to travel required, sometimes on short notice. We're looking for someone with excellent knowledge in sourcing methods; supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, analytical skills and legal/contractual knowledge. A person who has continuous improvement mindset with a business-driven and fact based approach towards suppliers with a focus on building long-term relationships. Ideally you have: Experience: - At least 3 years of relevant global industrial experience (truck, construction machines, mining, agriculture or automotive); - Minimum 3 years relevant work experience in sourcing roles in an international and multi-site company; - Experience in working with large suppliers with global multi-site footprint and managing supplier relations and negotiations Project management, cross-functional improvement teams and supplier development programs; - Experience in using ERP systems (Preferably LN.10); - Experience in complex steel assemblies / hydraulic systems / electrical & electronics preferred; - Degree Level or Equivalent, with relevant engineering and/or industrial experience; - English requirement: fluent. Skills: Excellent communication, cooperation and influence skills when working with different senior roles internally within the company and externally with different suppliers BCC/LCC Procurement in EMEA and APAC.
