About the Role
We are looking for an experiencedProject Manager with a strong background in Software Engineeringto join an American company operating in thefood distribution industry.
The ideal candidate will manage software development projects across international teams, ensuring on-time delivery, technical quality, and effective communication between stakeholders in the U.S. and Europe.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and oversee software engineering projects from planning to release.
Manage cross-functional teams (developers, QA, product owners) ensuring project goals are met.
Track progress and deliverables usingJira(advanced proficiency required).
Communicate effectively with U.S.-based stakeholders during overlapping time zones.
Monitor project risks, dependencies, and timelines.
Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical execution.
Requirements
Proven experience asProject Managerinsoftware engineering or IT environments.
Strong technical understanding ofsoftware development processes(Agile/Scrum).
Native-level Englishproficiency (mandatory).
Excellent communication and coordination skills across distributed teams.
Advanced Jira skills(project tracking, dashboards, workflows, reporting).
Availability to work from2:00 PM to 8:00 PM CET, to align with U.S. team schedules.
Nice to Have
Experience in thefood, retail, or logistics sector.
Familiarity withConfluence,DevOps tools, orcloud environments (AWS/Azure).
