Context:
As an IT Business Analyst, you are responsible for managing the lifecycle of business and functional requirements, including collection from stakeholders, definition, design, alignment, prioritization based on product vision, and monitoring development through applicable methodologies.
You oversee software implementation iterations, ensuring practices, rules, and values are understood and behaviors are compliant with Trace One methodologies. You ensure clarity on goals, scope, and product domain among project team members.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead workshop sessions with customers to capture and document requirements.
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously according to statements of work.
* Deliver system design elements such as data migration rules, business rules, prototypes, or other detailed outputs.
* Collaborate with PM, Product, Regulatory, and other departments to design solutions that meet project constraints.
* Design solutions in conjunction with the Enterprise Solution Architect, documented in Business Blueprint.
* Refine and document detailed user requirements to aid Development and QA teams.
* Work with project teams to enforce best practices and optimize core product reuse, refining requirements with Professional Services and end customers as needed.
* Validate products during development phases following project-specific methodologies.
* Support QA testing processes, including developing user acceptance criteria.
* Assist in training for Services, Sales, and Marketing teams.
* Develop expertise in PLM solutions.
* Contribute to business case development for innovation proposals.
* Support Sales and Pre-Sales teams on RFIs and RFPs when needed.
* Coordinate with third-party entities such as system integrators and consultants.
Core Competencies:
* Excellent written and verbal communication, including technical writing.
* Ability to demonstrate software and communicate at business and functional levels.
* Self-starter with leadership skills for requirement gathering sessions.
* Quick learner of new products, systems, and technologies.
* Effective in working with internal and external clients, including conducting user workshops.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
* Willingness to travel to customer sites during requirement gathering phases.
* Experience in PLM software implementations, preferably in the food & beverage industry.
* Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Education and Experience:
* At least 5 years of experience in preparing functional requirements, use cases, business process modeling, and creating use-case or sequence diagrams, ideally in the Food & Beverage sector.
* Knowledge of the full Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
* Experience with software design and modeling tools (e.g., UML).
Travel within the country and internationally may be required.
