We were meant to fly.brAs Resident Engine Field Service Representative Military Aircraft/Helicopter Engine-Northern Italy you will work within the Military Customer Support Organization and you will be located at Customer’s airbase for a period according to contract conditions between Customer and Avio Aero.brThis role will require your permanent presence at Customer’s military base supporting the customer, providing technical and logistic support to the engine fleet installed on the aircraft/helicopters.brstrongJob Descriptionbr/strongstrongEssential Responsibilitiesbr/strongulliProvide an high-level of technical assistance regarding the operation of the power plant /liliManage, as primary interface, any concerns and technical evidences arising from maintenance activities on engines at Customer premises /liliLead and ensure the effective exchange of information between the Customer and Avio Aero, in particular with the System Engineer, Program Manager and Fleet Manager, concerning the management of engine program /liliLiaise with Customer operational department to ensure timely and effective response to technical issues /liliSupport System Engineers in problem identification and possible solutions to support the military customer in the decision whether to remove an engine from service, after evaluating all possible troubleshooting operations in order to solve the problem "on-field” /liliSupport and arrange the receiving of engines, accessories and engibe parts to and from Company sites /liliEnsure monitoring, recording and updating of the availability and the status of the engine fleet /liliBe accountable to support military customer in planning the maintenance inspections /liliLead the support to military customer on interpretation and application of technical publications and Service Bulletins/PTAs (Prescrizione Tecnica Apllicativa), advice on engine operability, assistance in solving the problems that may arise during training, maintenance or operational activities /liliSupport military customer on PTAs embodiment, updating of the engine configuration related to the activities accomplished at the Organizational and Intermediate Maintenance Levels /liliLiaise with the Fleet Manager on the availability of engine parts and accessories at the customer warehouse, to support the Organizational and Intermediate Maintenance Levels activity at the military customer site and Depot Maintenance Level at the Avio Avio Plant /liliSupport the military customer in updating the technical documentation (Engine Logbook, Accessories Log Card, PTAs, Compliance Status, etc.) /liliEnsure support on the management and use of the engine Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) as prescribed by the applicable Technical Publications /liliManage, coordinate and arrange any Avio Aero technical intervention for schedule and unscheduled maintenance activities /liliLiaise with the Customer in coordination with Avio Aero the service data collection for engine and life limited parts /liliAutonomously executes, as necessary, maintenance operations tasks and makes evaluations of the collected results /liliAct as a Certifying Staff related to engine maintenance activitiesbr/li /ulstrongQualifications/Requirementsbr/strongulliBachelor's Degree in Engineering or similar field or a technical High School Diploma with previous solid experience in similar role /liliProven knowledge of turboshaft and turboprop engines, accessories, installations, control and monitoring systems as well as interfaces with airframe /liliAbility to read and understand electrical and mechanical scheme of complex equipment /liliKnowledge of configuration control rules, processes and procedures /liliKnowledge of Engine Logbook for consultation and analysis of Engine and Engine Parts data /liliAbility to read and understand Nomenclature Catalogues, engine Technical Publications, regulations and applicable procedures (maintenance manuals, parts catalog, calibration procedures) as well as Change Proposal, Technical disposition and Repair Schemes/Instruction; /liliAbility to evaluate area of improvement of existing maintenance procedures /liliStrong MS Office knowledge /liliStrong interpersonal and communication skills /liliStrong Customer mindset /liliEligible for NATO Security Clearance;
