The OPEX Local Quality has the role of deploying and facilitating the quality culture in Electrification Business Area and E-Mobility Division, leading and supporting Operation and Excellence projects to increase value creation by reducing no quality costs, supporting manufacturing teams to reach and exceed customer expectations ensuring sustainable operations according to QEHS integrated management system. Reporting to the Local Product Group Quality Manager, you will be mainly engaged in production and managerial process KPIs and workflow analysis, to identify action to reduce process complexity and not value added activities in order to optimize processes and related no quality costs, ensuring stable performance. All activities has to be managed in line with guidance from ABB Group/division/business area. Act with safety, efficiency, quality and productivity to assure that products meet stated requirements. This role is based in our Valdarno Plant.

**Your responsibilities**:
- Analyze with process owners both manufacturing and managerial ones processes - based on KPIs results and measurable data - to identify not added value and time consuming activities, losses and other no quality costs.
Measure and report quality improvement and operational excellence projects
- Support LPG Quality Manager in QEHS integrated management system maintenance and updating;
- Support in internal QHSE integrated management System process and layered audit program and in third party audit.
**Your background**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Management Engineering
- Experience in operation is preferred
- Knowledge of manufacturing process, strong attitude to problem solving and continuous improvement
Strong analytical skills, high personal interaction capacity and attitude to team work approaching and passion for leading change
- Good communication skills (written & verbal) in English
- Knowledge of ISO9001 or IATF16949 is a plus
