Importer service development manager

Purpose of the position

The Importer Service Development Manager is responsible for leading, directing, managing and developing sales of spare parts and accessories within the importers in certain countries across the EMEA region so that HIAB’s business objectives are met, activities comply with regulations and new and existing markets are maintained and developed. The role is open to Europe.

Main tasks and responsibilities

1. Accountable for spare part capture rate growth in the indirect sales network focusing on key accounts Develop and review commercial route to market and adjust necessary
2. Accountable for the global HiPerform attachment rate
3. Global performance management with major dealers and key accounts and be accountable for their growth in collaboration with the local direct or indirect organisations
4. Continuously monitoring the performance of the service delivery network and optimising it for efficiency and effectiveness
5. Integrate and further develop our key tools and dashboards for objective management decisions and strategic planning
6. Train, communicate and create credibility around installed base data and increase awareness in the organisation on parts sales opportunities
7. Leverage opportunities for parts sales created through e-commerce, connectivity and other digital data leads Developing and nurturing existing channels
8. Support the development of customer value propositions for Hiab's HiPerform portfolio for Importers
9. Aims to penetrate new key accounts or segments by leveraging existing networks or establishing new ones
10. Supports dealer conferences and dealer training events.

What you’ll need to succeed

11. Master’s degree in business discipline or equivalent is preferred
12. Several years of experience in services roles (commercial and/or operations experience) in this or related industry
13. Proficiency in managing and maintaining relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction
14. Ability to identify upselling opportunities, negotiate contracts, and close deals
15. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
16. Ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans
17. Experience in managing distribution channels and optimizing channel performance
18. Capability to develop and implement strategies for expanding business with key accounts Customer oriented person with strong analytical skills
19. Experience working in an international corporate environment
20. Experience in development of business plan/strategy and execution
21. Previous experience of using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools
22. Proactive and self-driven working approach
23. A good financial understanding to drive profitable growth
24. Language skills: English fluent; Additional languages are a plus.
