Security analysts should also ensure proper training is in place and that staff can implement procedures and policies. They work with internal IT staff and business administrators to communicate security limitations and produce documentation. Role Responsibilities: Monitor, detect, and respond to cyber-attacks using processes, procedures, and tools. Identify weaknesses and propose mitigation strategies. Install, secure, operate, and troubleshoot security solutions. Enforce security governance and policies. Industrialize security processes executed by security operators. Contribute to the design of IT solutions, infrastructure, and applications by applying security best practices. Key Responsibilities: Create security alerts, dashboards, and reports for threat management. Operate security solutions and conduct security audits. Research emerging threats and develop detection and protection measures. Develop anomaly detection patterns across various technologies and log sources. Support log management platforms and improve data sources. Assist in executing security strategy and roadmaps. Stay updated on new security trends and technologies. Provide tools for incident response teams. Collaborate with IT teams and customers to integrate security solutions. Maintain documentation and training materials. Technical Skills: Experience with security components such as firewalls, WAF, SIEM, etc. Knowledge of IT infrastructure and networking. Understanding of vulnerabilities and exploitation techniques.
