By combining advanced analytics and machine learning, you’ll help keep our pricing competitive and our risk under control. Here’s what you’ll be working on : /p h3What You’ll Do /h3 ul liBe part of an international team that works closely with colleagues across Italy, the UK and Spain, navigating the different rhythms of a well‑established market leader and the agility of quickly scaling startup hubs; /li liLeverage machine learning and advanced data analytics to design, build and evolve Prima’s proprietary predictive technology, in topics such as the prediction of future claims, tactical pricing, renewal probability, fraud detection and customer lifetime value, etc; /li liAnalyze and interpret complex data to support strategic decision-making; /li liDefine and support the implementation in each country of the key tools to understand how the business is growing, for example: conversion, retention, emerging profitability. The monitoring tools need to be consistent at a global level and at the same time able to adapt to the different stages of evolution of each country; /li liDevelop a strong critical spirit and creativity that can act as an engine for Prima’s growth. /li /ul h3What We’re Looking For /h3 ul liStrong academic background in Mathematics, Physics, Mathematical Engineering, Physical Engineering, Data Science or Statistics; /li liFrom recent graduates to people with at most 3 years of working/research experience; /li liExcellent English level, oral written; /li liCuriosity, proactivity, and innovative thinking to drive new ideas and solutions. /li /ul h3Nice‑to‑have /h3 ul liYou have previous work experience in similar roles; /li liKnowledge of Spark, SQL or any other data‑oriented programming language; /li liGood Python programming skills and proficiency with standard modeling libraries (Pandas, Sklearn, Keras, XGBboost, LightGBM, etc.); /li liKnowledge of BI tools (Tableau or similar); Fluent use of GIT. /li /ul h3Why you’ll love it here /h3 pWe want to make Prima a happy and empowering place to work.
