Amentum is seeking a **Logistics Management Specialist (LMS) **to support an upcoming INSCOM G-4 Global Intelligence Logistics and Engineering (GILE) Support contract. These services will support tactical, operational, and strategic intelligence units, personnel and their ground and aerial intelligence equipment and operations facilities and infrastructure and may occur from multiple locations simultaneously.
**Essential Duties**:
- Able to maneuver in small spaces and lift 50lbs.
- Operate logistics, government property book, supply 92Y equivalent, maintenance, and configuration desired.
- Manage equipment/system failures and associated record keeping including inventory of lowest replaceable units (LRU) and repair parts.
- Receive, inspect, pack and ship government material. Familiar with modes of transportation.
- Knowledge of military logistics, supply, and general shop operations.
- Ability to determine equipment serviceability, levels of repair, and provides accountability.
- Ability to research, locate, and order material from vendors and contractors.
- Supports US Army systems on site whenever and wherever deployed. Available to deploy to other countries and/or theaters to perform quick reaction technical support to US forces worldwide military contingency missions and requirements in potentially hazardous work environments.
**Minimum Requirements**:
- Must possess a U.S government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI). Some positions may require a polygraph.
- Bachelor’s Degree; or associate degree and four years progressive experience in military or civilian training in supply or logistics operations; or High School Diploma and eight years of progressive experience in supply or logistics operations. Knowledgeable of the Federal Supply System.
- Fluent in the English language includes the ability to read, write, and comprehend relevant documentation.
- Familiar with special handling, exemptions, tariff, and duty requirements for United States (US) military equipment/material through US and foreign customs. Capable of interfacing with foreign customs authorities to expedite movement of equipment/material through the customs process.
