Business Controller – Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine

Main Responsibilities
Act as the finance partner to Business Unit Leads, managing operating expenditures and sales forecasting, providing business rationale, and influencing resource allocation decisions with short- and long-term focus.
Drive initiatives in the local Finance team to implement the global finance transformation program and continuous improvement of finance processes.
Handle assigned elements of the business plan, challenging business partners on assumptions.
Manage projects through collaboration with stakeholders across multiple functions.
Support the digital agenda and shape the future of the finance function.
Maintain compliance standards while processing day-to-day tasks, monthly/quarterly journal entries, accounting controls, and reconciliations.
Qualifications
8+ years of relevant experience with strong finance, accounting, and business acumen.
Preferred Master's degree in Economics or Finance.
Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Industry is an advantage.
Strong collaborative, communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build trust with business leaders and finance colleagues.
Ability to influence business partners with fact-based data.
Project experience in finance transformation processes, including digital skills.
Strategic thinking and strong analytical skills.
High intellectual curiosity and the ability to drive outcomes.
Team player with a positive, can-do attitude and agility to manage multiple work streams.
Fluency in Italian and English (both oral & written) is required.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (required) and PowerPoint; Power Platform skills an advantage.
