Role: System Engineer - Onboard Signaling Subsystems (Railway Applications)

Activities:
As an Analyst for Onboard Signaling Subsystems, you will be involved in key engineering and validation activities for specific railway applications. You will support laboratory tests on vehicles, prepare technical documentation for V&V and certification purposes, and participate in both internal and external project meetings with stakeholders and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Support laboratory testing on vehicles for the certification of CCS-B and Rolling Stock subsystems.
Contribute to the preparation and review of technical documentation for the Validation & Verification (V&V) process, covering both Specific Application (SA) and Generic Application (GA) levels.
Assist in the preparation of documentation required for the EC and National Certification processes related to CCS-B and RS subsystems.
Participate in project meetings, both internal and external, involving customers, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with applicable standards and system requirements.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering (preferably in Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field).
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the railway sector, specifically in onboard signaling systems (e.g., ERTMS/ETCS, CCS-B).
Knowledge of railway signaling principles and certification processes (EC and national).
Experience in technical documentation development (V&V and certification).
Familiarity with specific and generic applications in railway systems.
Good understanding of laboratory testing procedures for railway vehicles.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Fluent in English (written and spoken); Italian or other European languages are a plus.
