R&D; Design Engineer - Product Company at Atlas Copco Group
Join our dynamic team to contribute to the development of next‑generation piston compressor machines. You will play a key role in turning ideas into reality, transforming concepts into prototypes, and supporting the journey to full‑scale industrialization.
Responsibilities
- Support the entire development process—from component design to full machine validation.
- Create technical drawings, perform calculations, and conduct testing.
- Collaborate closely with the Project Team, applying your technical leadership to bring innovative technologies from concept to product.
- Focus on maximizing customer value while minimizing waste.
- Work alongside the R&D; Engineering Team Leader, Project Leader, and Test Engineer to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
Qualifications
- A degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–5 years of experience in design and process manufacturing, ideally in an industrial design environment.
- Strong skills in CAD design, mechanical parts calculation, and BOM management.
- A keen eye for detail and a hands‑on approach to problem‑solving.
- A self‑motivated team player who thrives in multidisciplinary environments.
- Energy, eagerness to collaborate, and a readiness to bring technical expertise and fresh ideas to product development challenges.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and experience with Inventor or similar CAD tools.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
