Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced cloud architect/developer to assist our customers in architecting, developing, and re-engineering applications that can fully leverage the AWS Cloud. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, experience with cloud computing technologies, and excellent technical leadership skills.The role will involve working with customers to design and build cloud-ready applications, providing deep software development knowledge, and advising on AWS best practices. The successful candidate will be a hands-on technical leader who can work collaboratively with customer teams and AWS partners to deliver high-quality solutions.ResponsibilitiesHelp customers architect scalable, highly available application solutions that leverage AWS servicesArchitect and develop customer applications to be cloud-optimizedWork as a technical leader alongside customer business, development, and infrastructure teamsProvide deep software development knowledge with respect to cloud architecture, design patterns, and programmingAdvise and implement AWS best practicesWork as both an infrastructure and application development specialistImplement DevOps practices such as infrastructure as code, continuous integration, and automated deploymentBasic Qualifications7+ years of IT implementation experienceExperience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologiesExperience developing software code in one or more programming languages (Java, Python, etc.)Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field or equivalent professional experiencePreferred QualificationsExperience and technical expertise (design and implementation) in cloud computing technologiesExperience leading the design, development, and deployment of business software at scale or recent hands-on technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization experienceAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
